Historic Whitby
Frida’s cottage is located in the heart of Whitby, North Yorkshire. A haven for beach lovers, bibliophiles and the Gothic inclined. The cottage is a five minute walk from the stunning beach, a couple of doors from the famous Botham’s bakery, and very close to the traditional shopping area. Whitby thrives with independent shops, artists , bars and eateries.
The Abbey
A vast, historically significant part of the Whitby skyline, our 1500 year old Gothic ruin is a must-see when you visit!
Scale the 199 steps for stunning coastal views while you take in the Grade 1 listed ruins. Don’t forget to get yourself an ice cream when you reach the top - you’ve earned it with those stairs!
